Carnival Regatta in Biograd

At the carnival regatta in Biograd participated and our crew to "ANA-and NO. 2" in the team :

Between the snow and severe wind were opened two days as ordered to sail on the ninth carnival regatta in Biograd n.m. In a lot of good organization YC-Biograd (other than a lot of expensive entry) held four floats, two short of navigation and two rod races.

Strong wind, which is varied to provide everyone a pleasant winter sailing. Regatta is always well-visited, so that despite the cold and snow that fell two days earlier reported thirty sailing boat.

The first sail we started very well and headed for no major tactical error though we finished second in the group. It was a short navigation, which is low wind suit lighter ships from us, the first sail, second .

After a break in Tkon other navigation start on the left a little confidence by stronger winds, tactics that are worthwhile, and with less difficulty getting to the finish first in the group.

Another two days of sailing by rod-like conditions do quite well (except the start of another sail) so that we reject with a good sail regatta finished first in the group and ninth overall. Four sails, two first and two second places, not bad! It is true that competition was not strong, as will be regattas that follow, but the result is still there, the motivation for further.

Regatta is sailed by the Open Competition and the first in a planned season of sailing 2009. Follows Murter Cup ORC 14. i 15. 03. 2009
